PERFORMANCE LINE
The MasterBuilt Performance Line is our highest value cable product. Utilizing laboratory-grade 99.999% pure copper made in U.S. foundries, along with proprietary winding geometry to reduce inductance and capacitance and with very high quality connectors, the MasterBuilt Performance Line is an exceptional product that will bring your system to life, and at a reasonable price. Aerospace signal transmission technology can be yours now, so if you have spent upwards of $25,000 or more on your system, this would be the correct choice for best sound.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT POWER CORDS: Audiophiles should realize that the first component in the system is the power cord. This “first component” must be distortion-free and able to conduct a very large amount of current and voltage into the component. It is known that the musical signal consists of voltage and current sourced from the a.c. wall outlet, and the electrical components simply “modulate” that power into a musical waveform. Inexpensive or improperly designed power cords will add distortion or remove quality of the signal. For that reason, a high quality and non-reactive power cord should be used; once the signal has been corrupted, it is impossible to reverse this damage regardless of the quality of components that follow.

Although highly affordable, the Performance Line power cord can elevate your system to a performance level you might not think was possible. These MasterBuilt power cords will finally let you hear what your high quality components can do with your favorite music, since the design and materials of Performance Line are state-of-the-art at this price point utilizing high purity U.S. Laboratory grade copper with the most advanced insulation and winding geometries available.

INTERCONNECTS
Interconnect cables have a difficult job to perform. Low-level voltages from the source to the preamp and power amp are delicate and are prone to being corrupted with excess resistance, inductance, and capacitance (called “reactances”). Performance Line interconnects were designed to eliminate nearly 100% of the distortion and coloration caused by ordinary cables. These are designed to be successfully used in an environment polluted with EMI and RFI distortion, as they have superior shielding per U.S. aerospace requirements. As these interconnects use laboratory-grade materials manufactured using proprietary methods in the U.S., they offer an extremely high performance to cost value ratio. Therefore, the Performance Line Interconnects deliver the highest level of accuracy possible at this low price point. Available in single-ended RCA and balanced XLR configurations, the Performance Line Interconnects will exceed your expectations, no matter what cables you own now.

DIGITAL CABLE
Although the digital binary bit stream is robust, there are many ways that this signal can be corrupted by low quality cables. Our digital cables are design to have an optimized impedance as per the type of cables: SPDIF ~ 75ohm; USB ~ 90ohm; AES/EBU ~ 110ohm. Furthermore, the connector and cable design are optimized to achieve the least amount of losses (ie. insertion loss and return loss) for the digital signal transfer between the transport/server and DAC. The benefit of our cable design, high grade conductors, and materials translate to a digital cable with low jitter and attenuation loss. Performance Line Digital Cables benefit from the same proprietary elements of the rest of this line and provide the highest value performance possible in its class.

SPEAKER CABLES
The entire signal path is critical to the overall performance of your system. It has the same impact as any other key component. Simply stated, your system will only sound as good as its weakest link. Speaker cables are the final leg of that signal path and any degradation in signal nullifies the quality of components both before and after it.

Reactances such as capacitance, inductance, and resistance will modify the signal being transferred from the amplifier to the speaker. In fact, the crossover circuits inside your speakers use capacitors, inductor coils, and resistors to divide the frequencies. The combination of resistance, capacitance, and inductance is a potential source of coloration which can be seen as a distortion of the original signal.

MasterBuilt Performance Line Speaker Cables sound neutral because they have the least reactance due to their U.S. laboratory grade pure copper wire, the highest quality insulation available and proprietary design technology. Put simply, this is the highest value speaker wire on the market.
